Shovel head swingarm extention

I have the swingarm supported by blocks at the correct distance ready to cut in the Coldsaw.

Swingarm is cut, no turning back now.......

Blocks are machined an interference fit on the stepped ends so I can knock them into the swingarm ends with a soft hammer. Hopefully this will aid in the alignment

Shovel head swingarm modification

Started work on a Shovel head swingarm extention.

The owner of the bike is wanting a 17" x 140 rear wheel but it dosen't fit in the swingarm.

I have worked out that a 1" extention of the swingarm will do the trick. I will cut the swingarm between the shock mounts and the wheel axle.

Then machine up some solid bar that will plug into the RHS arms.

I will be updating this blog on a regular basis to allow followers to see what is new with BISON INDUSTRIES. Here is a photo of me in the summer of '76 when I was 16 years old. The bike is a 1967 Triumph Saint. The Triumph Saint was used in New Zealand by the Traffic Police. Not many people know that the model Saint was an acronym that stood for "Stop Anything In No Time".......
